De-tagger removes some or all of the tags from an HTML source file. Options allow classes of tags to be removed (e.g. FONT tags, or non-HTML tags added by Office), and tag manipulations (removal of hyperlinks, or conversion of tags to lower case). When all tags are removed, the program acts as a full HTML-to-text converter, spotting headings, lists, indented text, tables and hyperlinks and turning them into suitable text formats.
