Alma, an editor of sheet-metal working CAM software, member of the Voyager program and partner of UGS PLM Solutions, has developed a utility program that can be directly integrated to Solid Edge. This program is aimed at professionals who use the unfolding functions relative to sheet-metal parts. "UnfoldTable" enables the user to manage bend allowances from the real values noticed in the workshop. The tables are pre-entered using the DIN 6935 standard formula and can be modified by the users following workshop feedbacks. Different tables are available according to materials and thicknesses.
