Kaspersky Anti-Virus 6.0 combines traditional antivirus defence methods with the latest proactive technologies to provide solid and dependable protection against malicious programs: viruses, Trojans, worms, spyware and crimeware. It seamlessly integrates with the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems (including Microsoft Windows x64) and provides excellent compatibility with other PC protection programs (e.g., firewalls).
The program provides comprehensive protection including: scanning of email and internet traffic, file scanning, monitoring of memory processes (including rootkit detection), blocking of harmful macros and monitors any changes in the system registry.
