Description of Syslog Watcher Standard Edition
Easy-to-use server for collecting and reviewing SYSLOG messages. This SYSLOG server will be very helpful for monitoring medium-sized networks. Many features, high performance and usability are the main advantages of it. A possibility to analyze collected SYSLOG messages provided by Syslog Watcher Standard Edition will be helpful for network auditing and advanced troubleshooting. Besides that, SYSLOG server supports various network device types.
Syslog Watcher Standard Edition can receive lots of messages via UDP and TCP protocols. Another main feature of this product is a full support of IPv4 and IPv6 stacks of protocols. This SYSLOG server was specially designed for effective work in Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista.
In addition, interesting characteristics are: hex-view, customable filtering and storing, exporting and logging to text files. A level of message interpretation supplied by these technologies essentially improves analysis of multitudes of SYSLOG messages.
