Description of Syslog Watcher Pro Edition
Powerful server for collecting and reviewing SYSLOG messages from many sources. This SYSLOG server is a perfect tool for monitoring large networks. High-performance architecture, great functionality and easy in usage are the main features of it. Moreover, Syslog Watcher Pro can run as a Windows service. SYSLOG protocol is supported by many network device types and vendors, OS, servers and services, so this SYSLOG server can be used very widely.
Syslog Watcher Pro Edition can receive a huge amount of messages via UDP and TCP protocols. Another main feature of this product is a full support of IPv4 and IPv6 stacks of protocols. This SYSLOG server was specially designed for effective work in Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista.
In additional, interesting characteristics are: hex-view, customable filtering and storing, exporting and logging to text files. The most important features are intelligent parser of messages content and integration with Syslog Watcher Vendor Pack. A level of message interpretation supplied by these technologies essentially improves analysis of multitudes of SYSLOG messages.
