Description of Alventis Button Workshop
Alventis Button Workshop is a powerful tool that will help you easily create stunning graphical buttons for your Web site or any other application or project. You can produce an unlimited number of buttons for your entire site, with the ability to vary the appearance of each button in the set independently. Each button is dynamic, supporting not merely the rollover effect, but a large number of additional states - eight altogether! You have complete control over all visual aspects of every button in each of its states, so you can get as creative as you want. Multiple independent layers with blending control let you create an unlimited variety of special effects - all with a live preview. Combine user-defined semi-transparent shapes, textures, and other attributes to achieve the look you want. Finally, save your buttons in the graphic format of your choice, together with an HTML page that uses JavaScript to implement mouseover and other button states - all ready to be integrated in your project.

Each button is dynamic, supporting eight states: Normal ("idle" or "up" state), MouseOver, Clicked, Disabled, and the same 4 states in Downed mode, when the button enters the depressed or toggled state.
Buttons and states are almost entirely independent from one another, so you can vary all visual aspects of the buttons and their states to achieve the artistic effect you want.
A grid panel lets you see all your buttons and all their states at once.
A Preview panel displays a WYSIWYG view of your creation, letting you interact with your dynamic buttons with just a flick of the mouse.
Output your work as a collection of images representing the states of every button.
Choose the graphic format most suitable for your project: JPEG with control over compression/quality level, GIF with transparency if desired, 8-bit or 24-bit PNG with optional transparency, and 8-bit or 24-bit BMP (Windows bitmap) format.
Obtain an HTML file that brings all your buttons together, maintaining the exact layout you have chosen.
JavaScript code that lets your dynamic eight-state buttons "come to life" is generated for you, automatically.
