Description of itKeyboard
itKeyboard is a fully functional replacement for a standard keyboard. The program works with any Windows application (Web browser, text editor, e-mail client, etc.) and it enables the user to enter every character available via standard keyboard, including national characters. itKeyboard can be used with a touch screen or any other pointing device such as a mouse or a touch pad.

- keyboard transparency both in normal state and during movement

- fixed keyboard location (user cannot move the keyboard window)
- custom initial location of the keyboard window
- icon representing the keyboard in the system tray
- optional floating window shown when the keyboard is hidden and enabling:
a) quick keyboard restore
b) quick access to the configuration utility
For users of touch screen devices:
- eliminates the need for installing a physical keyboard, which may be prone to damage or may not fit the design of touch screen device
- enables providing users of touch screen device with new applications that require keyboard input without the need to attach a physical keyboard to each device
For users with disabilities
- enables motion impaired people to use a fully functional keyboard with a pointing device such as mouse, trackball or touchpad
- enables vision impaired people to zoom in the keyboard and replace standard keyboard with small keys with itKeyboard
- works with any application out of the box - there is no need for any additional configuration
- enables starting itKeyboard immediately after starting the operating system and thus providing a compelling replacement for a physical keyboard
