Description of Maxthon Browser
Maxthon is a very advanced multi-window (tabbed) browser based on the IE core (IE5.x or above required). It can open multiple web pages within one browser window, and uses little system resources. Maxthon has a greatly integrated and highly customizable interface which supports Skins, Plug-Ins, IE Extensions, and specific IE toolbars (examples: GOOGLE, FlashGet Toolbar).

| Snapture does NOT work. However, one can still capture info via MyIE2's built-in "Simple Collector" button, which creates a plain text file of your highlighted data. I'd been using (the free) CoCiter, so I didn't catch the Snapture problem earlier. My apologies. Still doesn't diminish my appreciation of this app. |

| What a difference a few months make. Tried this again after the mid-Set 2003 version emerged, and have been superbly happy ever since. Now relates to all my add-on IE6 buttons (i.e., CoCiter, Snapture, Repligo, iSilo), as well as the Yahoo and Google version 2 toolbars. Also lets me choose which download manager, if any, I want to use (i.e., Net Transport). You can configure the toolbars any way desired; ditto ad blockers, etc. Speeds up IE, even when opening. This app is worth serious bucks. Unlike others (AvantBrowser), it won't even hijack your file associations. Best darn app I've encountered in years. No relation to the folks behind the app, just a super happy user. |
