Electrical & Electronic Formulas III (EEF-III v2.0) fulfills the need for a source of consolidated engineering data; delivering a comprehensive set of electrical and electronic formulas integrated into one application. EEF-III is well suited to provide an answer to the needs of an electrical engineer, student, or electronics enthusiast.EEF-III, the third generation of this software, was developed to offer an alternative to the typical approach used in electrical and electronic design. This software eliminates much of the tedious and time consuming research required by each project. This is accomplished by giving the user an uncomplicated and logical method of solving engineering problems.Utilizing the electrical section of EEF-III the user has the tools necessary to perform many calculations such as fuse, wire, and raceway sizing, wire resistance, and voltage drop. Similarly, the electronics section of EEF-III affords the user the ability to solve rudimentary and complex formulas. Here the software performs DC and AC circuit analysis, standard component computations, inductance, impedance, reactance, and resonance calculations. This is a partial list of the capabilities these areas offer - there are many more. EEF-III has several other features, such as wire ampacity and motor current charts, a resistor color code calculator, and a number conversion utility. This utility makes possible the conversion of decimal, binary, octal, and hexadecimal numbers. Also, a world voltage chart is included, furnishing information about the electric power supplied to consumers in many countries.EEF-III is your affordable, easy to use, indispensable electrical & electronic engineering tool. The latest release of the software is EEF-III version 2.00 - it is Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP ready and based on the 1999 National Electrical Code.
