Description of ISAX Modbus RTU Master ActiveX
ISAX Modbus ActiveXprovides communication with PLCs, instruments and many other devices whichcan act as standard Modbus RTU slave stations.The control can execute Function Codes nr. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 15, 16 of Modbus RTUspecifications.Communication can be direct or multidrop.ISAX Modbus is the best low cost solution to build up your own supervisoring application using the platform you prefere (Office, VB, VC++, etc.).Release Note of version 3.0Starting from version 3.0 ISAX Modbus can be used both in singleport or multiport configuration; this means that developerhas not to insert more than one ActiveX in his application if protocol mustoperate on more ports!! All commands can be direct to a specified port or to thedefault one. Protocol has been improved adding new events, optimizing the speedin communications and extending the capability of controlling ports identifiedwith number greater than 16. For more information check the manual included indownload.Release Note of version 3.1Parameters have been added to events to identify Slave Address and/or port number where error occurred.Release Note of version 3.2Added methods for reading/writing 32-bit data types (both long integer and floating points data), with word/byte swap, in order to enhance the flexibility of the driver.Enhanced error reporting in methods.Fixed a bug that could create problem opening ports with a identification number greater than 10.Communication speed has been further increased, eliminating any delay between master request and slave response."Buy now" button has been added to license screen.
