Description of Ideco Gateway
Ideco Gateway provides the users of corporate networks with controlled and secure access to the Internet and delivers on the following tasks:
* Maintain the database of users of the corporate network
* Guard the enterprise's servers and workstations against attacks from the Internet
* Filter traffic, block unwanted advertising
* Connect remote departments and employees
* Analyze network traffic and set restrictions for the users
Ideco Gateway includes the following key components:
A firewall
An anti-virus for Internet traffic and emails
Friendly GUI-based configuration tools
A corporate Web server
A mail server with a Web interface
A transparent proxy server
VPN, NAT, DNS, DHCP, FTP, QoS, and Shaper
It only takes a small amount of time to install and configure Ideco Gateway due to the preconfigured components of the distribution and the convenient external management tool that has an evident graphical interface.
Ideco Gateway functions autonomously and does not require continuous maintenance: the administrator can perform other tasks while Ideco Gateway guards your corporate network.
