Description of SQLiteEncrypt
The SQLiteEncrypt is an AES encryption embedded SQLite database engine through which you can encrypt and decrypt your SQLite database file. When set a password key into your database file, content is no longer stored in cleartext, so that we achieve the purpose of data protection. SQLiteEncrypt is secure, high-proformance and easy to use: We add none method to SQLite API, just implement the encryption interface sqlite3_key() and sqlite3_rekey() in SQLite using advanced AES encryption.You can use SQLiteEncrypt as original SQLite C library. It is so simple and fast to implement your functional codes or integrate with your existent codes.
Features :
Embeddable. SQLiteEncrypt is a C library that links into your application. The library is the database engine; there is no separate database server process. We provide a DLL version to build your applications, just use it as original sqlite library.
Zero Configuration. With SQLiteEncrypt only four API calls can finish the task to connect to a database, set up encryption, execute an SQL command, and disconnect. No change to database schema.
Transparent Encryption. Encrypt your data transparently at storage-level, you needn't call any other cyptographic functions to filter your data in the code.
High security. AES encryption algorithm ensures that your data will be safe. AES adopted as an encryption standard by the U.S government, is one of the most popular algorithms used in symmetric key cryptography.
Good performance. SQLiteEncrypt use AES to do block-level encrypt not file-level encrypt, and AES encryption algorithm is more suitable than other encryption alternatives.
Easy to use. Call sqlite3_key API with your password when open, and call sqlite_rekey to change password if you need during SQLite session, and that's all. Developer guid page shows the examples on how to use it simply.
