Well yeah, if you actually PAY for it. I prefer the free version, does all I need.

Actually, XP's firewall only protects from outside threats, not inside ones like trojans. Plus, do you really trust M$ with security? I DON'T THINK SO!

357 even works right with XP now.

Had that problem too. but adding the exchange servers ip address in the advanced fixed it.
and as for aol and icq>? what on earth are you doing to stop those from working..?
I've never know those not to work unless youve frigged about with it so much and changed too many esential setting????

Now that's clear. I am, however, surprised. I've got Zone Alarm installed on both my home computer and my work computer, and the only problem I've had with it is with Microsoft Exchange, the Email Client that my company forces me to use to get my work email. Even though I've given Zone Alarm permission for Exchange to send and receive, for some reason Zone Alarm won't let it. So I simply shut off Zone Alarm while checking my work email and turn in on again when I've finished.
On the same machine (an NT 4.0), I use Outlook Express to download and send personal email. Zone Alarm does not block it.

Chris - are you saying that Zone Alarm caused the AOL-ICQ problems or Black Ice Defender caused the problems? It is not clear.

Black Ice Defender is way better
